A non-slip matt finish, produced by working the surface of the stone with high-pressure water jets making the natural design and pattern.

With this traditional treatment the stone is riven along its line of cleavage to reveal the natural grain; this gives an undulating surface with great character.
Broken to give rough natural finish not possible to produce big slabs and tiles only small pieces just giving an idea of the color not pattern.
A high-pressure airline projects coarse-grained grit onto the top surface of the stone producing a finish similar to cleft, but available on slabs of greater size.
Providing natural rough finish but with plane not smooth, big or small pieces. Color and design is visible in mild way.
The top surface of the slab is burnt off, giving an irregular textured.
Surface is burnt to produce a rough, really rough but plane surface fully anti skid surface which can take the weight of a lorry also. Color and pattern is visible but very sub dued.
The top surfaces of sawn slabs are pneumatically tooled to produce a pitted or grooved surface.
Pneumatically tooled and blown to produce a grooved surface not very rough but giving a very antique look.
